We are Oben Holding Group, a modern and innovative industrial and commercial group, with more than 15 years of experience serving with excellence the Latin American and European markets. Through dedication, technology and a prime personalized service, we have made our way and earned the recognition on the name we proudly hold today.



Every great story has its beginning, here is ours:

1991	Oben Holding Group starts out with the foundation of BOPP del Ecuador, a company dedicated to the production of bioriented polypropylene films.

1992	The Group starts producing BOPP films with an installed capacity of 3,000 metric tons per year. Due to it’s high standards of quality and great commitment with it’s customers, it starts exporting to the neighbor markets of Colombia and Peru.

1995	First expansion comes with the addition of a new metalizer with a capacity of to 1,500 metric tons per year.

1996	A new BOPP line is installed, allowing an exponential growth of production capacity up to 12,000 annual metric tons.

1997	BOPP exports are consolidated by reaching more than 10 countries in Latin America, becoming one of the largest suppliers for this Region.

2000	In order to bring a better and faster service, associate distribution centers are established in Peru and Colombia.

2003	Oben Holding Group grows once again with the foundation of OPP Film S.A. in Lima, Peru. This new manufacturing plant starts with an installed capacity of 20,000 annual tons of BOPP production.

2004	Expansion continues and new distribution centers are established in Venezuela and Brazil: Packfilm de Venezuela and Film Trading respectively.

2005	A new distribution center is established in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the manufacturing plant in Peru is expanded with the addition of a new metalizer with a capacity of to 5,000 metric tons per year.

2006	Production capacity of OPP Film S.A. is increased with a new 8.2 meter wide Bopp Bruckner line and additional 30,000 MT per year.

2008	Oben Holding Group expands its Bopp capacity and starts new production lines of Cpp Cast and Extrusion Coating A new Bopp manufacturing plant is installed in Argentina with an annual capacity of 35,000 MT. Production capacity for the metallized film in Peru increased in 12,000MT per year Opp Film S.A. installed a CPP-Cast Line with 15,000MT annual capacity and an Extrusion Coating line with 5,000MT. A new distribution center is established in Chile: Packfilm Chile SPA.

However, our story does not finish here; we continue writing it every day through our effort and the willingness to keep on growing in order to be able to offer our customers high quality products and the best service, which is our characteristic.
