At the forefront of technology, Oben Holding Group bought a new Bobst-General metallizer, the largest in Latin America, installed in its main offices in Lima, Peru. This metallizer has a speed of 1000m/min, input rolls of 5 net tons of films and a capacity of metallizing a wide maximum of 4450mm. Such features will allow OPP Film Peru to reach a never seen productivity in a metallizing process, reinforcing its region leadership.

This investment goes along with integral high efficiency. This new metallizer width complements with the ones of our 2 Bopp lines Bruckner, both of 880mm. The outcome is high level performance, allowing OPP Film to supply its customers with an optimal portfolio of metallized and transparent films. Currently, OPP Film Peru processes all product portfolio in different metallizers, with CPP, BOPET and BOPA metallized films, with thickness from 12 µ  to 50 µ.

With the acquisition of this fourth metallizer line in Peru, OPP Film capacity will increase in 15 thousand MT per year. Also, will be the ninth metallizer line of Oben Holding Group, winning an overall capacity of 50 thousand TM metallized films per year.
